A long time after our 99 day trip, I'll wrap up our blogging.
When we got home, we got a sign put on the back of the fifth wheel. We've gotten comments whenever we're on the road again. 😊
We found out that when Rich fell in the creek on our first night out, he partially tore his posterior cruciate ligament. The doctors told him there was nothing they could do about it, so he waited patiently for a year and now it feels fine.
So, we asked ourselves what were the highlights of the journey.
Rich's were: The ocean waves lit with silver fire; the Chincoteague ponies; and eating lobster!
Nancy's were: The fall foliage; visiting with family and friends; and seeing all the historical sights along the way.
We were glad to get home, too.
But, for both of us, the very, very best part was spending so much time together!
