the real life...

so here it is, my first real entry into the "real life"... ps- it kinda sucks! i like my job, i'm in a really great profession, i get to be silly and make ppl laugh and help them feel better all @ the same time... the big problem is that i'm working with ppl that i have to constantly convince they want to get better- n that's not even really the issue, the bigger issue is that a vast majority of them don't feel the need to get better because they don't want to be alive- n quite frankly i don't blame them, i probably wouldnt' want to be either if i were in the same situations. i should probably mention here that i've been working in a sub acute long and short term rehab facility for elders... my average age of patients is 75, n it's only that low because i've had 2 50yr olds that throw the average off! so anyway, i have until feb 9th left of this job and then it's back to school for me until my 'graduation' in may, and then i have approximately a week break and back to classes again until august when i leave for NYC to have a clinical @ the hospital for special surgery until october n then straight to NH for another clinical until december. but i'm getting ahead of myself- that's nearly a year away, for now i'm concentrating on the fact that jeremy is moving out here on march 13th, we have NO plans as of yet, a few offers of places where he's welcome to crash until i move out of my townhouse on campus in may, but no definites yet- i wanted him to be able to pick! i'll post pictures of jeremy's brother's wedding in canada once i have some more, i only have a few right now and his mom is sending me more... oh- i had an ABSOLUTE blast there by the way, i drove a tractor! haha, and i saw cows (lots- although according to them i saw barely any, i'm sorry, 50+ cows is A LOT to me! n ps, they're freakin HUGE)... so anyway, that's my story i'm tired and have to go to work in the morning, any questions feel free to send em my way and i'll respond. love and miss you all. xox
