For those of you that look for our reports, we're just checking in to tell you that we've taken a turn for the north.
Chris' ribs, bruised from a 'trip' on the dock in Atlantic City, are not up to another thumping on the open seas yet and we weren't quite satisfied with the wave height predictions for the crossing to Nova Scotia. It could have been more than 2 feet! LOL
So we opted for a final holiday in New England to cap our journey. Today we moved from Buzzard Bay,MA through the Cape Cod Canal and up to Plymouth, MA. This is a beautiful restored town and we're thanking Honey Dew today for the free wifi.
We will visit a few of these lovely old ports through Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. Hopefully we will cross to Gran Manan Island and then a short hop to Nova Scotia. We're close enough now that the end of trip is now safely within sight. We are missing the +80F days but the air is fresh and the weather is really fine, with lots of Highs sitting over the land.
You might just get a few more reports
and pictures before we turn into Halifax Harbour.
Back at it. The dingy is beached about 2 miles away, so we will hot foot it back there before dark.
