Edit Blog Post

Just getting all the papers and whatnot in order now. Any travel suggestions from people who have flown recently to avoid security snags? Don't know how the no-liquid thing is going to work out since the guys have to drink so frequently. We'll have to play it by ear.

Now we are just anticipating missing you. A kind of virtual missing. Maybe worse than the real thing. At least we hope so. M&M are completely oblivious to the storm that is about to become their lives, of course. Our next entry will be from Costa Rica.

Do they sense the storm approaching?

Love the pictures
It works. I think the airlines are allowing baby bottles. I think I checked with FAA.gov to see the latest.

Got this one too.
Your name appears under Marcus' picture....however, as your Mom, it could well have been a picture of you as you were want to put bowls on your head too.

Just "Checking In"
Just adding a comment to see if I will be notified in my regular email. Also to ask a question from Kristin or Frank, if they see this: Can anyone get into your blog, totally unrelated to you or your family?

Another Question
Is there a reason to "login/join" Travelblog.com?

reason to join and can others see the site
sorry to take so long to get back to you. i'm just learning to use this, too! in answer to your questions: 1) i don't think there is a reason you need to join, unless you want to set up a site yourself. if i discover another benefit to joining as i continue on this learning path, i'll let you know. 2) yep. anyone can see the site, but i don't think too many people will be interested except those who specifically search for our names (or possibly the place we are visiting -- not sure if that is possible). but good to keep in mind that this info is essentially public. cheers, k

Good Luck!
Great idea! I look forward to visiting the site to read about your adventures. We flew recently (but not internationally), and all we had to do was to tell the security attendent at the entrance to the line about the liquids we had for Simon. He just marked it and we all went through OK.

Is Nebraska part of the "free world"?
Good luck guys!

Hi Kristin and all, We survived the earthquake in Hawaii. It really wasn't a big deal. Anyway, I know my brother brings on empty sippy cups and asks the flight attendants for water or juice. Also, on my last flight, they were allowing you to buy beverages at the airport concessions. All the best to you all.

Wish List
Please bring us back a monkey...or some inexpensive prescription drugs. Either or, whatever is convenient.
