Bar Harbor

In the very North-East corner of the United States is Bar Harbor, Maine. Bar Harbor is a quaint and picturesque town on Mount Desert Island in the Acadia National Park.

Precipice Trail head, while short in distance at 1.3 kms it rises about 350 metres along the eastern face of Mount Champlain with many rungs and ladders along the way. it is definitely not for those scared of heights. Many sections of the trail are very narrow and a slip would be the end of you. This also provided a great challenge and some magnificent views of Frenchman Bay.
