Hi all

arrived here early this morning. The trip from Jackson was interesting. Did you know you can smoke in restaurants here??? Strange... We took a longer route and came across the causeway. Probably a mistake, because, Bill is not a fan of driving across any bridge with water underneath and I honestly thought he would have a heart attack. He started to sweat, gripping the wheel, and smoking. The causeway is 45 km. long - he did not think he would make it. At the end, when he finally saw "land" he said, that was worth it, right. LOL

The hotel is beautiful (thanks Cecelia) old, great architecture. It is actually 7 buildings put together as a hotel and it was built in the 1860's. The walls are all the original brick with beams in the ceiling. At one time, it housed a newpaper publisher, and stored goods such as booze and tobacco. Just outside our window, they are making a movie in this very narrow laneway. Off on a tour of the city tomorrow. I bet you can't guess where we spent this afternoon. Sonny, no dibs yet!

Miss y'all
