Wow, how many years since you've hit the road alone! I remember the trip to Phoenix with your mom & John Stiles (January 1971?) The morning of the 1st day, I pulled the moving van out of the gas station and hit the overhead light canopy. 24' long vehicles require pulling forward a bit before beginning the turn! We're looking at about 3 days of rain here in eastern NY. Pam will be getting commissioned (sort of like ordination) in Burlington on Sat, so I'll be going up there Sat. AM. Looks like you're making good time- how are the gas prices?
