Plugging Away.

....we're officially through Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and just crossed the state line of Illinois. 12hrs of driving today and counting!!

Found a nice state park in Kansas this am that had a lake and some mountain biking trails....however after eating it was far to hot to do anything! however they did have showers- little creepy but they did the trick!

After breakfast we drove...and drove & are still driving! We stopped to cook lunch at 4:30 and Jo had to pull out the meat thermometer- it was awful. usually we enjoy standing up and eating but we all climbed back in the AC of the van to eat.

A few pics...we should reach the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway in the am and then I've been informed its game #1 tomorrow so we'll have to find a sports bar!! GO Bs!!!!!!!
