In the Article " After months of protests, french couples ties knot in first same- sex wedding", it talks

about the controversial issue of same-sex marriage and making it a law, in the French city of Montpellier. when a

French couple changed history in France about being able to marry and adopt with the same sex, it caused

difficulties between conservatives and catholic church. This resulted in protests and wary of the protests

moving from Paris and other cities to Montpellier, which increased security from police officers and surrounding

the city in case of trouble. Some of the rights that are being violated is discrimination, both rights and obligations,

rights to equality, and most importantly rights to marriage and family. I believe this issue takes away the rights of

people who want to marry the same sex and deprives them as a person because it's their decision on what they

want to do with their lives and who they want to become, not based on society and what they believe people's

lives should be like. Enough is being done on the issues in France about same- sex marriage because it is now a

law and people are able to marry and have a happy family just like a normal person would. Some other solutions

or idea's that can be taken into consideration is more people who are homosexual standing up and becoming

leaders, to speak their minds on making same- sex marriage a law, so that they can have the same opportunities

and rights protected, as in France.
