Until departure for Alaska

Well, preparations have been underway for a while now. One of the tasks was to get a travel blog going so this is it. We have our passports on the way (not a necessity since we are driving, but still a good idea. We have the solar panel on our RV for battery charging in the boonies. We have our RV outfitted (mostly) an will be fine tuning it for the next couple months. We have lists and lists of lists.

We are fairly seasoned travelers, but this is a big trip. We hope it will be a happy memory for all of us and even for those who just travel with us via the blog. Since we will be gone for almost 5 months we hope to have enough time to see a bit of Alaska and the countryside along the way.

Feel free to make recommendations about what to see and what to avoid. We would be glad to have your ideas.
