Rome vs. United States

The law I choose was when someone is sentence to prison. In the Unites States, when someone murders another person or commits some type of felony, he or she is sent to prison to face their time. However, in Rome, when someone is sent to prison, he or she is being held there for trail or execution. However, wealthy people would only be under house arrest. That is not fair because the wealthy people should be face the same crime as the normal people. In the United States, almost everything is fair. It would not matter if you are wealthy or not because a crime is a crime and you would have to face the punishment which is prison. The SPICE element that would be affected would be P-political. I think the political would be affected because the government has to be fair to its citizens. The government would be affected because Americans would try to overthrow the government because they are not fair with the laws and it goes against the Equal Rights.
