Columbus Controversy :
1.) In this article it talks about how he is considered a hero but once he arrived on his voyage he killed lots of indians and he enslaved them .Also he tried to convert them into christianity and if they didn't comply he would kill them. It states that there was about 250000 indians and about 60 years after columbus came it was only a few hundred left.

2.) The reaction I had to this article was really surprised . I felt as historians usually talk about Christopher Columbus as someone who should be admired for his voyages and findings . I never heard such a thing where Columbus was looked down upon .

3.)This article relates to what we learn in class because it shows how the different maps and how they correlate with the voyages he takes . Also it goes into further detail about how the Spaniards traveled . Also it goes Ito depth about the physical hardships they has while traveling .
