This article was about youths in Baghdad being stoned to death for dressing "emo."



2. How does your current event relate to topics or ideas that we have discussed in world history. Explain fully.

This reminded me of the Renaissance in Europe with Martin Luther, how he was shunned for his beliefs. In the same way, these kids just wanted to wear what they like, and they were killed for it. It shows how unwilling people are to conform to new ideas.

The kids wearing the things they wanted to caused their deaths.
