The best style The Windy City was great for our first stop. We seen Willis Tower (although we didn't go up) the tallest building in America. We did go up Handcock Tower to the bar 96th floor, which didn't cost us any money apart from the $11.10 for 2 coffees OUCH. We went to Lincoln Park zoo, which was free and amazing. We were stood like 2 metres away from Lions and Tigers, who weren't together of course.
We visited Millennium park and Grants Park to see Buckingham Fountain and the giant bean thing (officially titled cloud gate) see the photos if your a little confused.
Walked right across the city (very, very, very far) to Navy Pier and got a great view of the city.
Funny Story for you, we bought our Greyhound tickets for Sunday when we first got to Chicago but later in the week we decided to leave on Saturday but forgot and didn't realise until we were waiting for the bus, so we get on the bus, sit in seats and start to pray that the driver doesn't look at the start date of the passes otherwise we're spending the night in the bus station....matt sweating.....Kerry laughing.... the driver didn't
check...
Sending Love
Matt & Kerry
