After 7 weeks, 6,000 miles and 20 states,I finally made it to Sun Valley. After leaving Texas,I headed north thru Oklahoma, then into Kansas, where it got much colder and started to snow.Fortunately not hard enough to be a problem.I had almost run out of propane, and spent one slightly cold nite in a Walmart in Kansas. Then two more long 12 hour days driving, going thru Denver, skirting the Rockies, finally seeing the mountains of Sun Valley in the distance and arriving on a glorious sunny day in Ketchum.I have moved in,bought a pass and tomorrow I am going to start skiing,I have already hooked up with Kerry Noble and her husband Randy, from western Connecticutt and we are planning to go to the Inaugural Ball at the Sun Valley Inn-it should be fun.So now onto 6 weeks of skiing and staying in one place. The trip has been a great success-interesting places and people and the RV has proved reliable and trustworthy. The adventure continues!Take care.Expect some ski blogs in the near future.
