Aloha on to Hawaii

Aloha everyone,

Sometime in November, Yvonne realized she had a $300 credit on Alaska Airlines, and it was about to expire. She searched and searched for flights to Wisconsin, but could only find flights to Chicago. Somewhere deep in a crevice of her brain, she remembered that Alaska Airlines flies to Hawaii. So for a quick second, she searched flights to Hawaii. And even more interesting, a flight in January was only $300! Before long, Michael received a frantic call from Yvonne and was instructed to agree that Hawaii sounded good in January.

So off we went and managed to also convince (not much arm twisting) Regine (Michael’s sister), friends Friederike (from Berlin), Mac (Olympia), and Martha (Lacey).
So one day in January, we managed to gather in Oahu. Staying along the North Shore, life as we knew it became full of discovery -turtles, whales, exotic birds and plants, and plenty of beach activity. Free Coconuts!
