Bright and shiney breakfast at 7:00 and our first class in Hawaiian by Susan. We learn the "basics" of the Hawaiian language from Susan whom we discover is a good teacher and wonderful storyteller. Then we go to The Lyman Musem and Mission House whose mission is "To tell the story of Hawai'i, its islands and its people". We are given an introduction to museum staff and have a tour of the exibits before we have a picnic lunch in the court yard at the museum with lovely sunny weather. Our afternoon class is Ancient Places of Hawaii with Linda Collazo. Later we return to our hotel via beautiful Rainbow Falls, have buffet dinner, get more aquainted, and go to bed.
