We were so lucky that a Pow Wow and Native American encampment was going on while we were in Stone Market. It's an annual event worthy of the tickler file! We got a Stone Mountain "Adventure Pass" which covered the $10 entry fee to this and other attractions throughout the park. Buying the tix at the camp ground office had the bonus of making a single ticket ok for two days' admission.

We are a couple, now in our early 70's, traveling in a 34" Holiday Vacationer Motor Home. Wes is a GE pensioner who just ended a 50 + year career, most recently consulting with the company. Joanne is a Public Relations specialist who runs her own "boutique" agency. Fall of 2015 began our 13th year keeping this travel blog. In the winter, we travel to and through Florida. Native Man With Wolf Skin

This fellow and his wife slept in this Tipi during the encampment. Their bed had a buffalo skin among other furs to keep them warm at night. The artifacts are all said to be "museum quality." Very educational.
