Hi Guys It's Tori!!!
On Monday morning we took our new bikes out to Tybee Island Beach. We went for a bike ride along the streets, then we went for a swim in the sea. About 20 metres away from where we were swimming there was a cone barrier, on the other side was Miley Cyrus and extras, they were filming a scene for a movie coming out sometime next year called 'The Last Song'. Where we were swimming in the sea there were loads of starfish, It was amazing!
This guy gave mum and I one, because we were interested. Dad and Josh were really scared of them! Those big Woosies. Lol.
On Tuesday we got up early and went to the Civil Rights Museum, it's all about the segregation between the black and white people. I'm pleased it's not like that nowadays.
After that we went back to our campground and packed up. It wasn't as easy as we thought it would be, we had big troubles getting the bikes on our broken bike rack, we ended up buying a new one as we left. Then we had to travel 5 hours to Atlanta, it was so boring in the car, and we stopped for toilet brakes a million times. Finally we got to Stone Mountain Campground after a small accidental detour. The campground is very big, in other words HUMUNGOUS! It is not only a campground it is combined with a medium sized theme park. You can check it out on: stonemountainpark.com.
Today we to the Stone Mountain Park. We watched a part of 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth' in 4d, You get vey wet and freaked out during it. We also did a scenic train tour, went into a kids play barn, you could shoot rubber balls at people and play games to get points, we did a gondola ride up Stone Mountain, it is very high. We just came back to have tea, or to most American's 'dinner'. Then we are going back to the park, I'm hoping to play mini golf and do the Sky Hike activities, they both look like lots of fun.
Peace!

Hi Tori, sounds as though you enjoyed your stay in Savannah...you didn't tell us about the haunted House tour......how was it was it scary???? Stone mountain campground sounds great and it seems like there is lots to do there. The boys and I went swimming last night at the whispering Pines pool, the water was quite warm but a lovely evening. The boys were pleased as their friends Scott and Patrick were also there....have a great day Love gran
