Tuesday afternoon by the pool. Wednesday evening recordings of my music by the chamber choir. Some of it sounds very good. Very helpful talk with Carol at the church about two works I have written for children’s choirs. Now emailing publishers. Very nice evening meal on Thursday with Stephen at Fox’s Pizza Den, guests of Dave and Gail from the church. No-one was brave enough to order the 21 slice 24” x 12” pizza. Today spent writing another ‘benediction response’ and a ‘call to worship’ for Advent for the choir. The weather has been quite cloudy for a few days now, and a fair bit cooler. Wore jeans for the first time here last night. Tonight we are going to the country club, as guests of Dianne. Tomorrow is the big football game; the first home game of the season. All Athens is crowded already, 24 hours before.
