Overnight flight to Florida to pick up rental car early. Bleary-eyed confronted multi-lane freeways and cloverleafs around Airport; interesting as nav-lady didn't operate from the beginning due to under cover car park; we survived. Drove all day - first to Key West then back and up further to Vero beach; many highway police and Sherrif cars; but managed to avoid.
Nice Motel accommodation and people mostly very pleasant and helpful.
Next day off to Kennedy Space Centre - full day; good.
Left next day early to Miami for flights to Antigua; lucky as I managed to take the wrong ramp onto the Florida turn-pike; it was 33 miles just to turn around and come back.... Unhappy Jan! Well they did say to bring the car back empty - I think we drove in on flumes.
