We spend a few nights at the Silver Springs Private Campground, because they had a pool and we wanted a swim. It is right next to the Silver Springs State Park. We walked through the parks but did not take a ride in the glass bottom boat. We checked out the museum of old photos commemorating its history. This location was a big movie set for such shows as" Sea Hunt", one of my favorite TV. Many of the old Tarzan movies were filmed here, also. The creature from the Black Lagoon was yet another film made here. As a child I didn't want to swim for a month after seeing that movie.
