Florida Keys & Cocoa Beach Spring 2013

3rd day and we have yet to sit on the beach. Okay, first night we were exhausted. Happy hour, grocery shopping and done for the day. Yesterday was kind of cloudy all day climaxing in a horrific storm last night. We were under a tornado warning for 3 1/2 hours and it rained buckets - 2 to 3 inches an hour. We did manage to slip in happy hour again, however. Today we attended the welcome meeting at our condo and got talking about buying a 3rd week. It seems a little crazy and we really can't do it right now. Turns out if we want to turn one of our weeks into points for a nominal fee we can buy a small hotel unit week. It would be nice if sometime in the future the whole family wanted to come down. Anyway, that shot the morning so we just went to the pool for a bit in the afternoon. At Sunday's aforementioned happy hour we were told about a British Pub just down the road called "The Pig & Whistle". What a treat! Everything we had was great. I had fish & chips, dh had the Shepherd's Pie and we had a great sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for dessert. As I write this I'm hearing more thunder. I need to get to the beach tomorrow!
