Actually, we are not in Salida, CO but the list did not include Coaldale. We overnighted last night in a Walmart parking lot in Espanola, NM. Got an early start to Coaldale, CO to visit with friends, Karen and Lyle. They have a fantastic "Earthship" (passive solor, off the grid) house with beautiful vistas to look at. Very peaceful. Probably why they named it Peaceful Pines and Peaks. The ride up was also quite lovely. We are having a great time. Unfortunately, Lyle has to leave for Alaska tomorrow morning. We will also be heading back and picking up Rt. 66 in Santa Fe again.

Update on the rash if you care. Karen whipped up some essential oil concoction which seems to be helping. Enjoy the pictures.
