We departed our house at 6:40 eastern time (4:40 Colorado Time). After a quick check in we all ate breakfast and headed for our terminal. During the 30 minutes that we were waiting for our plane to arrive we saw several other planes enter and leave BWI. Once our plane arrived we watched the service people (that's what my mom called them) get our plane ready for our journey west. On the plane we watch the movie "The Last Mimsie". Our flight to Denver, Colorado was thirty minutes quicker than expected. The Denver Airport was very big, in saying than I mean that it was a few huge buildings connected by a underground tram. After about an hour at the airport we took a shuttle to our friends house (Dave Raymond's). After we settled in, Dave gave us a small but cool tour of Denver. On the middle of our tour we went to a large Mexican restaurant called Casa Bhonita. From where we were sitting we could see small skits and high divers diving about two and a half stories high. Dad when to this restaurant roughly 30 yrs ago and still remembered it. On the way home, we stopped at a local Walmart to pick up some provisions for our RV. Now it is 9:00pm Colorado time which would be 11:00pm eastern time. And I am going to bed.

Fun Fact of the Day: Did you know that over half of the people living in Colorado, live in Dever?

little flags
yep, they still have the little flags, but disappontingly, you have to push the flags up - they don't have the little strings like real flag poles like they used to. The place said "since 1974" so when we were there as kids 30 years ago it must have just recently opened. Chris

Safe travel
Glad you are there safely. Just a comment - hope there won't be too many pictures of you with a cell phone. Love the commentary, Ben. Keep it up.

cell phone
actually the picture of me with the cell phone in the airport in Dnver was when I called Dave to let him know we arrived and were waiting for the shuttle. My boss did call me the next day though to ask about questions regarding an offer letter we were making to a nurse practitioner - I don't tell him we were just crossing into Wyoming with my wife at the wheel of the RV for the first time. no cell service here in Hot Springs.
