Austin to Oakland and on to Monterey

All packed up and ready to go. Left McKinney Falls and took the car to CubeSmart and called Uber for ride to the airport. Did curbside check in and not sure if they even weighed our luggage but was of course all pretty much at the max allowed.

Ate breakfast and then were ready to board with our priority boarding pass! Both the flight to Phoenix and Oakland were fine but we did seem to slam down on both landings! No problem getting our car and we were off! Made good time getting to Monterrey and Veteran's Memorial where one of our favorite spots was available. Got the tent set up and used Uber to get down to Crown and Anchor because both were tired.

Had a nice evening visiting with Art and some of the other regular bartenders on duty. Visited with a guy that works for PG&E that really wants to go back to work for the military. Another Uber ride back up to Veteran's Memorial for a good night rest!!!!
