A road trip to the White Mountains is something to be remembered. Its a long drive to a worthy destination, and no matter which direction you come from the scenery is like nothing else in the country. 4000 meter peaks, sagebrush desert, Ponderosa Pine and Juniper forests, rivers and canyons, lakes, lava and glaciers. Magnificent!
Wow, your pictures show the image of a country nobody could imagine. Amazing beauty! I never heard such things from any of my American friends!! DO go on in travelling! These places are so precious for us, the readers!

How diverse!
Wow Steve...those are gorgeous! So unique...it's crazy that California has so many diverse landscapes! I love "The Sierra's in the Owens Valley are steeper than you can imagine!" photo which shows the steepness of the mountain side. I also love the "White Mountain Peak (4342m)" photo with the sun shining on the road. Neat! I was also impressed with your poetic and emotion-inspiring last paragraph :). Thanks for sharing!
