Elverhoj

The Elverhoy Museum, hand-built dream home of one of the Danish immigrants to the area, Viggo Brandt-Erichsen. Inside is an amazing art showcase and depiction of early Danish settler life, along with some of the history of Solvang. And it's FREE!

Excellent close-up Cody got of a flower. He didn't even notice when he was taking the picture that there was a butterfly perched right there! If you look closely, you can see the butterfly's tongue (probiscus, according to Cody).

Every Wednesday afternoon downtown Solvang has a Farmer's Market. We got orange juice, cheese, peaches, bread, and avocados! I guess that is why they say not to shop when hungry.
