San Francisco is damn good place !
So many different areas with so many different atmospheres !
You can feel the hippie style in the air all around the city as well as the mexican influence.
One week is too short to enjoy this city.

Getting lost in Haight/Ashbury with the hippies, eating tacos in Mission with the mexicans, discussing politic with the residents of Marina Cow, going shopping in Union Square with the shopping additcs, dancing on electronica in SoMa with the artists, getting scared of homeless people in Tenderloin and playing cards with the chinese in Chinatown... so many experiences I can't describe like that.

They should rather call the city Hills town because you spend most of your time going uphill and downhill.


I'll try to give more details later on, but so many things to say...

Few things, though:
Don't book an hotel in the Tenderloin area, except if you liked being with junkies and homeless.
Enjoy the Breakfast (Eggs over medium, bacon, sourdough bread and hashbrown)
Talk to anyone in the streets, they would be happy to know you are european
Don't go to Bruno's. This is supposed to be a cocktail place but they can't serve you half of the menu
Go to North Beach district for the best food
Try to find the entrance of the Slide club and lt me know !
Get a sandwich at Little Deli. You will die for it !
Visit the museums, there are not so many
Skip the Fisherman's wharf. Is is Eurodisney without the attractions
Make sure you go to the following places:
- The vintage shops in Haight street. Crazy T-shirts for 10$. As well, the record shops. Vinyls for 2$. Funk and Soul.
- The Mighty for electro parties
- The Redwood Room for the best cocktails in town
- The Medjool: Roof bar with pretty girls
- The Sky Rye for clubbing. Amazing location and good dj's
