A Cable Car
A Cable Car exiting the turntable at the end of the line Today we were woken up by the sound of a Helicopter hovering outside our hotel window at 8.00am. I opened the curtains to see it slowly disappearing down between the two buildings opposite us. It then reappeared with some construction equipment slung below which it then placed on top of one of the buildings.
After breakfast we ventured out to explore San Francisco. Our first experience was 'Crazy Street' where every 5 yards there appeared another crazy person, people talking or singing to themselves, people shouting at themselves or somebody else. There were people standing on the pavement selling absolutely anything!! One woman was standing there with a packet of Kellogs rice krispies in her hand which she was trying to sell. Every street corner had some sort of street entertainer on it including one man who had an Iguana on his back, a Snake on his right arm and a Scorpion in his left hand.
We bought our tickets and then boarded the cable car which took us to Fishermans Wharf. We did some more shopping there and spent a while watching the Sea Lions on the pontoons at Pier 39. After lunch in the French crepe cafe
The view from the Cable Car
The view towards fishermans wharf from the cable car we did a little more shopping and then we took the cable car back to our hotel, passing more crazy people on the way.
This evening we took the car to explore a little more and ended up having a meal in The Hard Rock Cafe which was superb.
Tomorrow we leave San Francisco and head along the Pacific Coast Highway towards Los Angeles.

Hey, wicked photos as usual! Must be awesome to visit so many places and see so much stuff in such a sort period of time :) This crazy street sounds weird though, did you feel scared at all? Hehe, personally I prefer to visit big cities more than parks but everywhere you've been looks really fascinating so I might have to venture there if I end up in Cali next year :) Continue having fun and enjoying yourself, I'll see you in less than a week!
