We took a little spin in LA to see Sunset Blvd. and ended up seeing the UCLA campus too. Tricky to say the least with a 35' RV towing a car. You just never know what Bill will try, tee hee. We camped at Oxnard in the State Park (dry camping) last night. The beach and sunset were beautiful even if we did have to wait until late for coffee because you weren't suppose to use your generator before 10am. Lot of rules in the park!
Today was a short travel day, we stopped in Lompoc were Bill was stationed in the Army in 1952. This is the first time he has been back since then and found it had grown tremendously. Bill found the corner where he and Dottie lived but the house was gone. Only land mark close by left was the theater. There is modern art statues on the lot now, see pics. We are now at Pismo Beach for 2 days, more pictures to follow. This is a first class park and we would recommend it highly. The weather is sunny a little cool but very windy today.
Day trip in the car to explore tomorrow.
Adios from CA.......
