The past three weeks have been snowy...very snowy. It was waist to chest deep on Tuesday..55 inches in 48 hrs.. After all the work was done we got first run down Viva, the first face-shot caused me to burst out in laughter and after awhile I was fighting for air. It was awesome.

Wednesday was a bluebird powder day. I waited in the Gondola line for two and half hours and then had one of the greatest days of my life.

Dos Pasos is what we are looking at, under the chair line of 14. Rhimmed and sort of filled-in. It's much better than it was last year.

The first storm after the January drought was very wet. It rained at the base, sleeted at chair 4 and wet snowed up high. The ice was thick and everywhere. Those were hard days of breaking sleds and line.

In January, we did a lot of training. In the lake by Mid-Station we did some ice training. It was fun. This is Matt Hilgers on the left and me on the right.

The suits were extremely boyant. I'm the one in the water applying the float and harness.
