Is it Z or Cupid? After a brief sojourn to San Francisco, Justin met up with Chris in L.A. on Christmas Eve, with Mark Zanatta in tow. The three nights in San Francisco consisted of alot of eating, drinking and conversations not suited to this site. Since most of the time was spent in Z's or TW's apartments, there wasn't anything particular San Fran about it, except the fog. But it was a good chance for the three of them to hang out for the first time since, maybe, college. And it gave us a priceless note to make fun of TW for forever.
Christmas with the DuRochers consisted of continued eating and drinking, although the conversations were more NPR. We opened presents on Christmas Eve, and struggled to fit them in our backpack on Christmas. And, most importantly, we toasted the Bears' improbable run to a division title. We head out this evening for the long flight to Aukland, with plenty of Ambien in our pockets.
We'd also like to congratulate Ryan and Erica, i.e. The Kapplebergs, for deciding to make it official. Everyone who knows Ryan can probably imagine a long, flowery proposal speech. If we can find the room, we'll try

Goodbye Carrinos, we'll miss you, but love hearing everything on your blog. Yes, I wish there were enough hours in the day for me to accurately retell the proposal from Ryan in this space. Seriously, it was very sweet and we are both happy. And now WE'RE out. Bye!
