I am a Photo Journalist from Los Angeles, California, and have been an established photographer for over 35 years.
I specialize in subjects associated with adventure, travel, and expeditions. I employ a unique style that involves blending rich colors and natural light into my compositions depicting landscapes and cultural phenomena. I have
spent over 40 years exploring this Earth of ours which we share. My travels have taken me to lands that are blessed by affluence as well as to those stricken by poverty and, at times, are ravaged by conflict. It has always been
my wish, using my camera lens, to share my experiences with others.
In 2006, I published a book, Faces of the World, to share these experiences. My hope was to share this visual compilation of my travels and my personal experiences with you, the world, and hope you would obtain both
pleasure and knowledge from viewing it. A second edition of the book is scheduled to be published soon and will be available first for pre-orders placed now.
In February, 2008, our team will embark on a new expedition driving from Le Havre, France, to Cape Town, South Africa. Our route is planned to

Expeditiontravel through Europe heading southeast through Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, to Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, the Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, and Namibia then across to the East Coast of South Africa down to Cape Town, South Africa.
Our team has been planning this venture for two years. The key elements are in place to ensure a successful expedition. All the necessary permits and approvals for the trip have been obtained. We have extensively modified
our 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser (FJ 62 body style) specifically to meet the challenges that we expect to face on this trip. Our experienced team is in place: Al Sadrpour, Mo Sadrpour,We have traveled together on several other expeditions and represent an impressive combination of skills and talents that will provide for the highest level of success for this journey.
