Canal bike Cruise
setting sail on the rough waters of amsterdam Ok ok i know its a little late, but man we have both been so busy! Loni is actually in Washington D.C. with her family for a reunion. As for me, I've been running around trying to get all of my paper work in order for my nursing program that is going to start in the fall.
For our last day on the tour we had a very busy day in amsterdam. We woke up very early that morning to go to a diamond factory. We were able to see three perfect diamonds. Not many people are fortunate enough to see PERFECT diamonds. After the diamond factory we took a canal bike cruise. it was actually quite comical, we couldnt figure out where to go for the life of us. It took us an hour and half to find Ann Franks house (which could probably only 30 min). On the way we almost got ran over by a huge motor boat that took up the whole canal. The captain started to honk his horn at us. Once we arrived at Ann Franks house we had to wait in a huge line, but it was well worth the wait. Her house

three perfect diamonds was amazing. We later went on a shopping spree in the "cheap" part of amsterdam. However, it wasnt very cheap. We did manage to find 4 H&Ms. H&M is the best store in the world, for those of you who arent familiar with it. We couldnt spend too much time there cause we had to make it back to the hostel in time to change and get ready for our last evening on the tour. We all got dressed up and headed off to our canal cruise which would take us to dinner. the cruise was very nice, we listened to some great music while we ate some cheese and crackers with the best wine. For dinner we ate at a wonder chinese resturant called the "Sea Palace". We had the best time there, despite Taryne making a HUGE mess with her food (but what else is new). After dinner our tour manager gave us a few hours to spend in the city before the bus would take us back to the hostel. Everyone wanted to go to a coffee shop, however a select few of us didnt want to go, so we went to a bar in a 5

Taryne and Nicole star hotel for drinks with our tour manager and driver. For those of you who dont know... a coffee shop is a place to do drugs, while a cafe is a place to drink coffee. For the six of us who didnt go to the coffee shop we had a great time talking in the hotel, getting treated like kings.
The next day was the day we had to leave everyone. It was a very heart breaking trip home. We were looking forward to see everyone back in cali but we didnt want to leave anyone back on the tour. We all became such good friends, that it was hard to leave. It was a nice good bye though, they all drove us to the airport and we gave our hugs good bye on the way. Once we got inside the airport and made our way to check in, one of the airport security asked to search Taryne's bags. He had to go through everything including her gifts. She was almost not able to bring home her brothers gift. He had to ask his boss if it was alright for her to check it. if that wasnt bad enough,

Loni and Kortnee once we got to our gate we realized our seats weren't together. Loni got downgraded. We spent about 15 min arguing with the lady at the desk to try to fix it, however she wasnt budging. Taryne had to switch her tickets on both flights inorder to sit with loni. We were just lucky both men were willing to switch.
Well we are both back in the states... both in different states at the moment, but in the states none the less. We both want to thank everyone who left us comments while we were away. It really meant alot to us!!! Well for the last time...
