2014 Rose Bowl Pep Rally

The pep rally was held at the LA Livearea and a ton of people showed up for it. So much so that we were so far away we really couldn't hear what was being said by people like Mark Hollis, Coach Mark Dantonio, Kirk Cousins, and later Lou Anna Simon. However, we saw several MSU celebrities up close within the Hyatt right next to the LA Live area such as : Ron Mason, George Perles, Lorenzo White, Javon Ringer. That was great as my mom got pictures taken with both Javon Ringer and Lorenzo White, and I got a quick word in with Lorenzo before getting a picture taken with him. Lorenzo and I graduated from Michigan State in the same year, 1988. Oh, and Lorenzo and I were both in the Rose Bowl on 1 Jan 1988, when Michigan State beat USC that year to win that Rose Bowl contest. On 1 Jan 1988 though, Lorenzo was on the field playing, and I was in the stands yelling my head off. Was a great day, and so was 1 Jan 2014!
