Day 1 Anaheim - Knotts Berry Farm

Day started early again. Only had about 4 ½ hours sleep last night. Left our Hollywood hotel and caught the 7.20 train to Downtown LA and then connected with a bus to go to Anaheim. Arrived at Anaheim at 10am and checked into our Hotel. We traveled this whole trip on a $3 all day metro ticket. A cab was going to cost $100! (Disneyland is just across the road from our hotel).

So we decided to get Knott’s Berry Farm done. We were extremely tired today and were not really in the mood but we had to tick it off our list. Knott’s Berry is a theme park with very extreme rides. If you think the best rides at each of the QLD theme parks (ie. giant drop, lethal weapon, superman, tower of terror etc) well the exact copy off all these plus more was at this on place. Each ride topped the last one; my stomach was thrown around a lot on these rides. Our favorite was goast rider. It looked dodgy like the lunar park rollercoaster made out of timber but it went forever and when you think you got some time to recover something else comes up, and it went forever. And I do have to admit for a girl who will go on anything and is up for any ride I wasn’t feeling quite good after one ride with lots up spinning while gown up and down and I did chuck up! (I blamed the tiredness, bad food or my cold).

So we actually left early from the park coz we were so over it and wanted to sleep. We got home at 5pm and ordered some pasta for delivery. It came to our hotel room door, we ate it and we went to bed (7pm). My calves were sore today from climbing the stars at Universal (thanks Paul). Don’t have the internet in our room, had trouble using the hotel lobby so we are at an internet cafe and will only update when we can.
