Have you noticed how things are changing, not for the best, as we travel around the U.S. and world? Some things we hardly notice, while others really bother (us) me. What might some of these consist of? Loss of luggage storage-even for a fee, this has all but disappeared, except for Amtrak. What a pain in the a**! Boarding pass fee-these airlines are money grubbing, low lifers, like Allegiant, and Air Asia. Both charge to print your boarding pass at the airport. I would also include exorbitant hotel parking or valet fees. Or the ridiculously priced snacks in the refrigerator in our rooms? They are complimentary at high end hotels and resorts! Pillows and blankets-have all but disappeared in Coach, and sometimes in Biz or First. Soap in hotels-are all now provided in large bottles. Who knows what the previous guest placed inside? And what about hotel bathrooms with no doors? And stop slamming those doors to your room when you get back after a night of drinking. Loud talkers-whether on the plane, train or bus, seated directly behind, when I try to relax or nap. They also seem to always have a selfie stick too! Or the damn cell phone in their ear! No Clue travelers-who bring LARGE carry ons, or multiple packages on the plane! Here's a rule: if you cannot lift it up to the bin, don't bring it!!! Car rental taxes-why are we paying for the roads, concession stands, parking lots and new airports? I guess Uber is hurting them? Bare feet or flip flops-these people will regret the day when they are forced to run or walk over hot surfaces. I even saw some idiot clipping his nails on board a flight. Therapy dogs on planes-being a dog owner, and loving our little Lexi as we do, I cannot see why people expose their dogs to air travel, particularly when they are placed in the cargo hold. Or worse, those little suitcase cages with the pink handles! Lend a hand-there is always an elderly traveler, a Mom with babies, a disabled person who can use a hand, whether a door, suitcase, or a smile. Why not be the one to help? So, I am certain each of you must have a pet peeve as well. Speaking of the corona virus, how about people who travel while sick???
