After leaving Alamogordo we drove to Paradise, Arizona, near Portal, AZ, which is a very popular birding area. We weren't there so much for the birds as for the hiking in the surrounding Chiricahua Mountains. So, here will be some pictures from the neat historical house, where we stayed on the 26th and 27th, as well as from the hike to Silver Peak and the trails in Chiricahua National Monument. After our night in Willcox, AZ, on the 28th, we drove back to New Mexico to Silver City before heading back to El Paso for our flight home on Saturday.
