Final couple of days in the States and I finally got my swim! Not many other brave souls, Arizonians thinks it's cold, but the water was warm like a bath even if the outside air was a little chilly. No-one around to take a pic of me in the water so guess you can see the lovely time I had with the pool all to myself!
It's been Thanksgiving Day here today, my first ever and it's been wonderful to share with family. Started with the Macy's parade from NYC on TV, Skyping with Ally and Alice (and Alfie of course! ), a wonderful dinner with some weird things like sweet potato with marshmallows and strawberry jello (jelly!), a game of 'Left, Right and Center ' which was great fun (and I won!!! - watch out Flo, it's coming to Oz with me) - a wonderful time. Thank you all for your great company and especially Clarice and Darryl for a great day and an awesome meal.
I'm now packing for the next leg. I leave tomorrow for Auckland via LA - I loose Saturday comletely and get there Sunday after a 13 hour flight! Be glad to arrive
on the next leg of the adventure. Watch this space!
Soon be with Flo in Melbourne .... less than a week now and a year and a month since we had our last hug! :-)
Thank you SO much Clarice, Darryl and Sandra for your wonderful and generous hospitality - I have loved every minute :-) xx
