TRAVEL TIPS

This is an early get up and we are preparing for the end of our trip. We packed up, had a light breakfast and headed down the river. There were no rapids; it was pretty calm the whole way down. The raft float was at least four hours, before the jet-boat picked us up and brought us to Lake Mead. As we traveled out of “The Canyon”, things just disappear. No more fascinating geology, no more canyons to hike, no more waterfalls, it was a bit sad. Well our bus met us and off we went through the security of Hoover DAM
We are back to civilization (?), Las Vegas (?) from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Back to the motel we are all anxious for a shower/bath and we all comment on the amount of red sand left in the tub. We meet as a group for dinner, and say goodbye. It has been an adventure and so-o-o-o-o memorable.
Time to sleep in a bed again, yeah!!!

Tomorrow Valley of the Fire then Las Vegas and home

The Farm
I got the farm! Now the fun begins. Looking forward to your return, so you can help build my house. The wisest follow their own direction. Euripides
