Kerry and Gena in their shirts
The shirts say I hiked Bright Angel Trail. Bob and Gena left the campground early this morning, heading for Wupatki and Sunset Crater, two parks we’ve already seen. They ended up going to Walnut Canyon, also. We dawdled around and left the campground around our usual time of 9:00 and went into the Canyon Village to mail some postcards and buy some more. Guess where I’m not eating tonight. There is a truck stop next door and the campground is full of feathers from the 2 trucks loaded with chickens over
Dust Blowing
Very windy today, we could feel the wind pushing against our vehicles. there.
We’ll part company with Bob and Gena in the morning as they’re heading for a couple of parks we’ve already visited. And since we’ve made the turn for home, we’re ready to get there. We miss our young people and our bed and our very own bathroom.
