Huuuuge train Somewhere Between Albuquerque, NM and Flagstaff, AZ --> Flagstaff, AZ
Only took us about 2 hours to get to our destination today. And Flagstaff is MAD COOL. Sweet town, awesome shopping 😊 . It'sss kind of a boutiquer's heaven.
Wandered around town for a few hours, spent quite a while at the local brewery (obviously). Then we decided to go to Snowbowl, a ski resort up the mountain which has tons of awesome trails when theres no snow. The trail we took was really cool... lots of aspens, and pines, and rocks. I climbed at least two trees and at least three piles of rocks. You'll see in the pics. I had a blast. I think we probably hiked about 5ish miles all together, nothing too strenuous. I got my fitness in by climbing everything in sight.
After that we got a room, showered up, and went back into town for dinner. Got some sushi n stuff n then walked around a little more. We walked past the brewery we chilled at earlier that day and this guy who was on the patio stopped us and like shook dads hand and everything and told him that he didn't
mean to be weird but he saw us kickin' it there earlier and he had been trying to write... and when I walked in to meet up with dad and sit down for a beer he saw my smile and somehow he just started writing and writing. Strange, but flattering haha. Especially because at first I thought he was a bum and was gonna say something really f'ed up hahahah.
So anyway, it was a pretty laid back, relaxing day and we really felt comfortable in Flagstaff so we just kinda kicked it there and hung out and took it easy. Tomorrow is the Grand Canyon soo its a good thing we rested up a bit.
