Once again my wife and I have decided to get out of town and go on a last minute trip. We spent about an hour after work deciding where to go and making plans. Our chosen destination is Flagstaff. From there we plan a day in Oak Creek Canyon and a quick detour on our return home for a few hours at the Grand Canyon. The challenge of the trip is finding activites where we can bring our dog Taz.
We arrived in Flagstaff around midnight and I was pleased to find the hotel in a nice area with several hotels and shopping nearby. We stayed at a Motel 6 in the Woodland Village area near I40 & I17.
