Now I know how the old man in the nursery rhyme felt about the rain leaking throgh his roof. We made our way to Seward, AK. We lucked out and got a waterfront camping sight, and that was the last of our views. It was lightly drizzling when we got there. Followed by a downpour that lasted almost 20 hours before we left. Now mind you, it was still pouring when we left and probably still is. The roof leaked something terrible! So we canceled our tour boat and high tailed it out of town. It seemed like as soon as we hit the town limits, the rain stopped. We headed over to the Kenai and just laid low for a couple of days. We of course played cards last night. It is uncanny how much Scratch likes to sit and watch Ed play!
Hopefully the next photos will be us with a sting load of Salmon! But first, we are headed to Homer. I plan to try out my new fly rod there.
