Juneau to Glacier Bay National Park

Leg #2 of the trip took us on a giant, but well-worth-it detour across Lynn Canal, through Icy Strait, and north into what we are convinced has to be one of America's most beautiful National Parks.

Hey all.... we're safe and sound in Ketchikan, AK, and will be here for about a week-long hiatus. Here's the photographs and route map we promised a few weeks ago to compliment the journal entry we posted from Gustavus. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more pictures and journals in the next few days!

There weren't many trees on this river outwash for us to hang our bear bag, so we got a little creative and built our very own bear pole.
