Fun with bears and flares

Today and most of the rest of the week is boat training. We had the usual classroom stuff followed by trailering, playing with flares, smoke signals and fire extinguishers. Our lunch was interrupted by a black bear and her cub that just jogged right on by as we sat in the sun in the parking lot. They move fast!!!
