Leaving this afternoon...

News via email from up North is that it's snowing!!. All weather reports are showing the thermometer hovering around the low 30's for the wkend. (Will try to post a picture tonight or tomorrow once we land.)

Lots on the docket for Anchorage if weather permitting. Definitely won't be driving the normal speeds on the newly fallen snow. The plan is to drive up to Fairbanks on Monday - which is reporting -17 degrees but improving over the next couple of days. (Scattered snow showers. Highs in the upper 20s and lows in the upper single digits.) Gloves, hat, scarf, and boots a MUST!!
