Cancun - Preliminaries

This year we are taking a short 1 week trip to Cancun. Well not really cancun but about 20 minutes south between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. We have rented a private villa with pool for the week. Since it is hurricane season the rent was quite reasonable. The villa is also only 30 short feet from the Caribbean Sea. We have also opted for the inclusive meals, which will be served right at our villa and prepared by the chef/owner of the villa who lives at the same location.

We are planning only one major activty during the trip and that is a visit to Mayan Ruins. The rest of the time will just be rest and relaxation.

I hope that you enjoy this blog, might not be as interesting as Thailand was last year, but will try to add more pictures this time.
