Eric and I went to Chichen Itza and Tulum! It has been a dream of ours to see the Mayan Ruins.

We went on a tour booked through Olympus Tours the operator's name is Riviera Maya. Our tour guide to Chichen was excellent. His name was Ivan and he was so interesting and funny. But before we got to Chichen we swam in a sink hole and ate at a buffet while watching traditional Mayan dancers perform.

The next day we went to Tulum. Both were spectular and worth seeing.

Thanks for posting your pictures. We traveled there about 20 years ago, so it brought back memories. Now we are reading our sons travelblogs. Travel is a wonderful experience that stays with you the rest of your life. Keep on truckin'!

Yes it is a sink hole. The water is from an underground river. I was beautiful!
